THEATER OF DEATH IS A PROPHETIC TALE OF WHAT WILL COME TO PASS UNLESS WE CHANGE OUR HUMAN WAYS

What

War, cyber warfare, the demise of democracy, famine, pandemic and the total destruction of logistics and infrastructure, will lead to no access to food, water, electricity, technology, medicine, communication and governance. This will set the human race back by 40.000 years, resulting in tribes being formed in a world where only the strongest and most brutal can fight to live and fight for territory and scarce resources.


Where

The game takes place in a city of the future that hasn’t been built yet. It’s promise was to become the Utopia of all Utopias, where everyone had access to the lives of their dreams, experiencing their greatest potential. It really became the best place in history. All dreams however, come to an end, and it was the ways of the humans who turned this paradise into pure hell on earth.


When

The Era Of Great Disasters begins in the year 2069 and lasted a total of 12 consecutive years.


Why

This game is a warning of what will come to pass if we don’t change our ways. It can be seen as a prophecy, but it is simply a realistic outcome for where we are currently headed.


How

The project is being developed on a requirement basis, meaning that we build it up in steps, with outsourced team members coming and going as the vision become reality.

December 2021: Prototype 1

Core Gameplay - Simple Implementation with bots for play testing.

Raw Sound Design

May 2022: Prototype 2 Ready.

The diverse character gallery becomes playable.

Multiplayer implemented.

Proper Sound Design.

First map looks good.

Graphic design / UI completed.

September 2022: Playable Beta Version - Testing the limits and killing the bugs

Game made accessible for the public.

Multiplayer finalised.

Design Principles finalised.

Players' input begins shaping the direction of the game:
1. Map design

5. Sound

6. Other unplanned for player discoveries for improvement

January: 2023: Early Access.

1. Reaching out to influencers to test the game and reveal possible flaws.

2. PR and Publishing Strategy revealed.

September 2023: Initial Basic Full Version Ready.

1. The game is now a product on the marketplace.

​

January 2024-December 2024: Players' Wished Implemented To Grow The Game.

2024 will be used to update the game with players' wishes who didn't make it in the game. New maps, more work on the characters, more weapons, and whatever else will make sense to strengthen the players' love for the experience.

​

September 2025: The Project is considered completed.

Shall it become successful enough, maintenance and updates will continue.
